United Utilities has gone out to tender with an AMP7 framework contract for acoustic hydrophones worth an estimated £20.6 million.

The procurement covers services under a framework to deploy, install and maintain various types of pressure, flow, level & acoustic data loggers across United Utilities’ North West region.
Scope of services to be provided under the framework consist of:
- "lift and shift" of United Utilities temporary acoustic loggers - installation and retrieval;
- installation of new permanent acoustic loggers;
- maintenance of existing "Phase 1 & 2" permanent acoustic/ hydrophone loggers fleet.
Initial contract term is 2 years with an additional 6 years extension options.
